Cinematic Video Editor (Final Cut Pro)

About Us We are a creative design studio that helps businesses build brands, products, and experiences people remember. Our clients capture high end cinematic footage, including aerial drone shots and professional cinema camera footage, and we turn it into films that look and feel premium. We are looking for an experienced editor who can do that footage justice. About the Role We’re hiring a professional Cinematic Video Editor who works in Final Cut Pro. You will take raw drone and camera footage and craft it into polished, emotionally engaging films for brands, real estate, events, and social media. This is a role for someone with years of experience and a portfolio that proves it. We are not looking for beginners. What You’ll Do Editing and Storytelling

• Edit cinematic brand films, promotional videos, aerial showcases, and short form social content
• Shape raw footage into a clear story with strong pacing, rhythm, and emotion
• Select the best shots from large volumes of drone and camera footage
• Cut to music with precise timing and smooth, purposeful transitions

• Color correct and grade footage to a consistent, cinematic look
• Work with Log and RAW footage (Apple Log, S-Log, D-Log, and similar)
• Match color between drone and ground camera footage so every shot feels like one film
• Create and apply custom looks and LUTs when needed

• Select and edit music that fits the mood and brand
• Add sound effects, ambience, and transitions that make footage feel immersive
• Mix and balance audio for clean, professional delivery

• Stabilize, reframe, and speed ramp footage as needed
• Add clean titles, text, and simple motion graphics
• Export in multiple formats and aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:5) for web, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok
• Manage high resolution media (4K and above, ProRes, H.265) with organized libraries and backups

• Understand each client’s goals and brand style before editing
• Take feedback well and deliver revisions on time
• Suggest creative ideas that improve the final film

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience
• Expert level skills in Final Cut Pro
• A portfolio of cinematic work, including drone and professional camera footage
• Strong color grading skills, including Log and RAW footage
• A strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and music editing
• Experience delivering videos for both long form and social media formats
• Your own capable Mac setup for editing high resolution footage
• Reliable, detail oriented, and able to meet deadlines

• Experience with DaVinci Resolve for advanced color grading
• Skills in Apple Motion or After Effects for motion graphics
• Experience editing real estate, architecture, travel, or luxury brand films
• Understanding of drone and cinema camera workflows
• Knowledge of FCP plugins and effects (such as FxFactory, MotionVFX, or similar)
