Civil Engineer

AHSAN ALI, a France-based company headquartered in Savigny-le-Temple near Paris, is seeking a full-time Civil Engineer to join its team in the Karachi Division. Key Responsibilities
- Design and review civil engineering plans, including structural, infrastructure, and site development drawings and technical specifications.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, planners, architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project alignment and quality.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments, focusing on stormwater management solutions, drainage design, and runoff control.
- Ensure all engineering activities comply with relevant local and international codes, standards, and best practices.
- Plan project phases, schedule tasks, allocate resources, and coordinate construction activities to meet deadlines and project goals.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and provide technical guidance to resolve challenges efficiently.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation to support project decision-making and stakeholder communication.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Proven experience in civil engineering design, with the ability to prepare and review structural and infrastructure plans.
- Demonstrated ability to work on multidisciplinary projects, collaborating effectively with planners, architects, and contractors.
- Strong knowledge of stormwater management, including drainage design, runoff control, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in civil engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools, along with basic MS Office skills.
- Solid understanding of local and international engineering codes, standards, and industry best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a hybrid work environment.
