Civil Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to oversee and manage construction projects encompassing residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and supervising all phases of construction to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires close collaboration with architects, contractors, and project managers to maintain compliance with safety regulations and building codes while addressing any technical challenges that arise on site.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, design, and supervise construction projects across various sectors including residential, commercial, and infrastructure.
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and construction estimates to support project planning and budgeting.
- Monitor daily site activities to ensure work aligns with approved drawings and specifications.
- Ensure strict adherence to building codes, safety standards, and quality requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate effectively with architects, contractors, consultants, and project managers to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Inspect construction materials and verify workmanship quality to maintain project standards.
- Track project progress, timelines, material consumption, and labor productivity to identify and address any deviations.
- Identify and resolve technical issues promptly to avoid delays and cost overruns.
- Prepare detailed daily and weekly progress reports for management review.
- Manage projects to ensure completion within the approved budget and schedule.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Relevant experience in construction or site supervision is preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and the interpretation of construction drawings.
- Solid understanding of BOQs, estimation techniques, and quantity surveying principles.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
