Civil Engineer

Venus Group of Companies is seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Engineer to join their Engineering and Projects department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction, maintenance, and repair activities on various civil works projects. This role requires ensuring that all projects are executed according to established standards, specifications, and timelines, while maintaining quality and safety compliance. The position is full-time and based at Raiwind Road, Lahore, offering a competitive monthly salary ranging from PKR 80,000 to PKR 125,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all civil construction and maintenance activities on-site.
- Prepare, review, and verify engineering drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and other project documentation.
- Monitor construction progress to ensure adherence to approved designs, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate effectively with contractors, vendors, and site teams to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess work progress and compliance.
- Ensure optimal use of construction materials and resources to avoid wastage.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and site-related issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate project records and prepare detailed progress reports for management.
- Enforce strict compliance with safety protocols and quality assurance standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Proven experience in civil construction, maintenance, or project supervision roles.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction materials, and site management practices.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
- Effective problem-solving abilities and capability to manage contractors and on-site activities efficiently.
