Civil Engineer

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Civil Engineer with 7 to 8 years of experience to join our team at the Sofiabad Industrial Area, located on 18-Km Ferozpur Road. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor daily construction activities on-site to ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, layouts, and technical documentation.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Coordinate effectively with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and project management teams.
- Monitor project progress and ensure completion according to the established schedule.
- Conduct site inspections to verify workmanship quality and compliance with project requirements.
- Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations at the construction site.
- Oversee the use and efficient utilization of construction materials, including quantity checks.
- Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and material take-offs.
- Verify site measurements and maintain accurate records of completed work.
- Identify and resolve technical issues arising during construction phases.
- Ensure proper execution of concrete works, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing tasks.
- Monitor reinforcement fixing, formwork installation, and concrete pouring activities.
- Coordinate material testing, concrete sampling, and other quality control procedures.
- Maintain comprehensive site records, inspection reports, and work progress logs.
- Assist in preparing work schedules, method statements, and project execution plans.
- Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Identify potential delays and recommend corrective actions to keep the project on track.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and usage of construction materials.
- Attend site meetings and provide updates on project progress and technical matters.
- Coordinate with surveyors for setting out, leveling, and dimensional accuracy.
- Ensure completed work meets quality standards before inspection and approval.
- Support project handover activities and maintain as-built drawings and documentation.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Proven experience of 7 to 8 years in civil engineering roles within construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and engineering principles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office applications. Familiarity with project management software is advantageous.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict project deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, quality control, and safety compliance.

Compensation and Work Environment
The position offers a competitive monthly salary of up to Rs 200,000. This is an in-person role based at the project site, providing an opportunity to contribute directly to building quality infrastructure and successful projects.
