Shelters is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer with project management experience to oversee and deliver civil engineering projects efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. This role involves leading project teams, managing schedules and costs, and serving as the primary liaison for clients, consultants, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage civil engineering projects from initial planning and design through to execution and final handover.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, monitoring progress, critical paths, and key milestones.
- Review and manage technical drawings and design documents in AutoCAD, collaborating closely with design teams and consultants.
- Prepare and maintain budgets, cost reports, progress reports, and financial forecasts using Microsoft Excel.
- Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Handle variations, change orders, claims, and maintain accurate contract documentation.
- Lead and support site engineers, supervisors, and project staff to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Project Manager in civil or construction projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 for scheduling, baselining, and progress updates.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for reading, reviewing, and basic editing of technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, contract management, and basic quantity surveying.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines effectively.

Work Location

This position requires in-person attendance at the project site or office.
