The Civil Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Sukkur. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing engineering designs, drawings, and specifications related to infrastructure projects. This includes supporting planning activities from the initial concept stage through to project completion. Daily responsibilities involve conducting site visits, performing technical calculations, and coordinating efforts with architects, contractors, and fellow engineers. Ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards is a key part of the role. The Civil Engineer will also monitor project progress, contribute to stormwater and drainage solutions, prepare reports and documentation, and assist with cost estimates and scheduling. Additionally, the role requires resolving technical issues during construction and maintaining project quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for civil infrastructure projects.
- Support project planning from concept through completion, including scheduling and resource allocation.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
- Perform technical calculations related to structural and infrastructure elements.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project delivery.
- Develop and support stormwater management and drainage design solutions in line with environmental regulations.
- Prepare detailed reports, documentation, and cost estimates to support project management.
- Assist in resolving technical challenges encountered during construction phases.
- Maintain adherence to local building codes, safety standards, and quality assurance protocols.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Proven skills in civil engineering design, including the ability to develop and review structural, infrastructure, and site development plans.
- Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams of civil engineers.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, capable of managing project phases and preparing work schedules.
- Knowledge of stormwater management principles, drainage design, and runoff analysis with compliance to local environmental regulations.
- Proficiency in engineering and drafting software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent tools.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to perform on-site inspections and work effectively in the Sukkur area.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with local building codes, safety standards, and construction practices.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
