Civil Structural Draftsman

We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineering professional to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis in Lahore, Pakistan. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed structural drawings, designs, and models of reinforced cement concrete (RCC) and steel structures for various civil engineering projects. This role requires a creative and self-motivated individual who can manage tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance with industry regulations. The position involves close collaboration with team members and occasional travel to project sites outside the city.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare comprehensive and precise structural drawings, designs, and models for RCC and steel structures.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant industry standards and project specifications.
- Manage assigned tasks independently, demonstrating creativity and strong organizational skills.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Communicate clearly and professionally within the team and with external stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel to on-site locations as required for project supervision and inspections.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in drafting RCC and steel structure drawings.
- Proficiency in CAD software for developing both 2D and 3D structural drawings.
- Ability to interpret structural drawings and produce accurate as-built drawings.
- Solid understanding of construction materials, specifications, and relevant codes.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-directed with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills

- Experience with additional drawing software such as Tekla and Revit is highly desirable.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and software tools to enhance project delivery.
