We require an experienced Senior SQA Automation Engineer to implement automation testing on our ongoing projects. The candidate must have least 4+ years of experience in writing automation scripts and performing automation testing. As an SQA Automation Engineer, the candidate shall be responsible for writing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of the software products of the clients.
Must-Have
- At least 4+ years experience as a QA-Automation engineer.
- Ability to Build, Manage and Execute automated test suites to exercise our software to verify the growing feature sets and customer requirements.
- Hands-on testing experience in performing automation tests on web applications’ front-end UI and backend APIs.
- Functional knowledge of the following technologies: HTML, XML
- Deep knowledge of SDLC
- Experienced in data driven testing and grey box testing.
- Expert in writing test cases with Selenium or TestNG framework by using any programming languages like JavaScript / Typescript / Java / Python / PHP.
- Comprehensive understanding of OOP concepts like polymorphism, inheritance, abstract classes & interfaces.
- Hands-on experience in test infrastructure / test suite development & maintenance along-with documentation.
- Good experience in Automation Testing, Java/ Python/ JavaScript Programming, Framework Development experience.
- Practical implementation of build and version control systems e.g. Jenkins/git.
- Ability to diagnose and debug issues.
- Strengths in SQA methodologies feature coverage analysis and commitment to quality.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Nice to have
- Cucumber/BDD, Cypress, JMeter
- Collaborate with other teams who are responsible for software engineering
- Collaborate with other testing teams for knowledge sharing and technology unification
- Provide testing estimates and meet project testing timelines
- Report bugs/errors discovered per standardized tools and processes
- Support Testing and quality activities within Agile delivery
