We’re looking for an intern who loves to code and wants to understand web platforms. You will be working with Ruby on Rails framework along with HTML5, CSS and jQuery. This will be a full-time unpaid(Leading to full time job) internship that would be perfect for a computer science or engineering major graduate looking to gain real world experience.
Responsibilities:
- Working as part of the team following an agile development methodology
- Developing modules using Ruby on Rails
- Creating interactive web pages using HTML5, CSS and jQuery Key skills and qualities
Requirements
- Firm understand, and recent experience in Object Orientated programming environment
- Current student or recent graduate in computer science, engineering or similar field
- Experience with web development frameworks (Rails experience a plus) and concepts
- Good understanding of MVC concept, and experience using it.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Understanding of relational database concepts
- Good independent, self-motivated work skills
- High personal integrity, trustworthiness, accountability
