Cloud Architect

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect with expertise in both Azure and AWS to join our Cloud Consulting team. This role involves providing advanced guidance in designing, architecting, and implementing cloud solutions that prioritize scalability, security, and high availability. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities to drive cloud transformation initiatives, collaborate effectively with clients, and ensure technical excellence through hands-on implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement innovative cloud solutions across Azure and AWS platforms, ensuring scalable, secure, and resilient architectures.
- Lead cloud migration projects and provide technical leadership to project teams, working closely with clients to align cloud strategies with business objectives.
- Deliver hands-on cloud development and implementation, maintaining adherence to best practices and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and propose cloud strategies, incorporating security best practices and governance frameworks to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Optimize cloud environments for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency through continuous assessment and technology evaluation.
- Conduct cloud assessments, recommend appropriate technology solutions, and support cloud transformation initiatives.
- Mentor and coach team members to enhance technical skills and foster innovation within the team.
- Participate in pre-sales activities, including preparing technical proposals, delivering solution presentations, and facilitating client workshops.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of cloud consulting methodologies and best practices.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 6 years dedicated to cloud architecture roles; preferably 12 years in IT with 8 years in cloud architecture.
- Proven expertise in architecting and implementing solutions within Azure and AWS environments; experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a plus.
- Hands-on experience in cloud development, modernization, migration, automation, and DevOps practices.
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture patterns, standards, and best practices.
- Proficiency with cloud automation and orchestration tools such as Terraform.
- Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization, and identity management in cloud contexts.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker Swarm and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with serverless deployments, virtual private clouds (VPCs), API gateways, virtual machines, managed database services, AI/ML services, and data processing/analytics services.
- Extensive experience with Azure services such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines), Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Proficiency in key AWS services including Amazon EKS, AWS Lambda, AWS CodePipeline, DynamoDB, Amazon RDS, AWS Glue, Amazon Redshift, and AWS CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of cloud monitoring, logging, and cost management tools.
- Strong grasp of cloud security principles, governance frameworks, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into scalable cloud architectures.
- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills to influence and collaborate with clients and internal teams effectively.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget.

Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline is preferred.
