At Cloud Asset we are building and delivering a portfolio of innovative cloud solutions for our customers who outsource their private and hybrid cloud requirements to us. In order to drive this continued success through our talented workforce, we have an exciting opportunity for a strong technical specialist to deliver private and hybrid cloud solutions for our enterprise customers.
We are looking for an experienced Cloud technology engineer/ implementor and operations manager who is a guru at the complete range of cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will know how to design Cloud architectures, deploy and configure them and create best practices for their operations, management and maintenance offering our customer a 24x7/365 uninterrupted service experience.
Our current cloud platform runs on Microsoft Hyper-V on HP infrastructure however new platforms are being designed and built on OpenStack. The ideal candidate will be:
• Responsible for Microsoft Private Cloud functional specification refinement
• Performs Microsoft Private Cloud Reference Implementation deployment
• Performs System Testing and supports UAT
• Microsoft Private Cloud Reference Implementation Deployment
• Work as Solutions Architect to create a roadmap for improvements and enhancements
• Integrate the Hyper-V & OpenStack solution into customer's environments, for example: LDAP/AD, Monitoring, Networking and Storage infrastructure
• Troubleshoot deployments and identifying problem root causes
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Working with our architecture & engineering teams to design and deliver innovative solutions that meet our customers’ needs
Technical Capabilities:
• Solid background in implementing Microsoft Private Cloud Solutions for Enterprise clients
• Experience with Hyper-V Management Cluster installation and set up
• 3+ years experience with SCVMM (System Center Virtual Machine Manager)
• Excellent Linux skills
• Experience in OpenStack deployments and familiarity with the key OpenStack technologies
• Familiarity with management and logging tools such as Icinga, Nagios, Logstash
• Experience in security mechanisms and identity management systems, e.g. Certificate hierarchies, LDAP/AD.
• Experience with, configuration management, debugging and troubleshooting in Microsoft & Linux environments.
• Experience with scripting languages, eg Python, Bash etc
• Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, PXE, WDS Preparation
• SQL 2008 Cluster Installation & Setup experience
• Experience with HP OO would be greatly beneficial
• Experience with HP infrastructure, HP blades and HP storage
• Experience in performance analysis
