As a Cloud Engineer at Synapsebiz, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure that supports secure and scalable digital platforms. Your role will involve deploying and managing cloud services, optimizing system performance, and ensuring high availability and resilience of production environments. Daily activities include configuring Linux systems, managing databases, automating infrastructure provisioning, monitoring system health, and troubleshooting issues across various environments. You will work closely with software developers and security specialists to integrate cloud solutions with application architectures, enforce best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the technology stack. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Islamabad.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure to support secure and scalable digital platforms.
- Configure and manage Linux environments, including system administration, shell scripting, and performance tuning.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and resilience of production systems.
- Manage databases, including relational and NoSQL technologies, focusing on query optimization, backup, and recovery.
- Collaborate with software developers and security teams to integrate cloud solutions with application architectures.
- Enforce cloud security best practices and contribute to continuous technology stack improvements.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience with major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools for automating cloud deployments.
- Strong software development skills with at least one programming or scripting language like Python, Go, Java, or Bash.
- Solid Linux system administration experience, including shell scripting, monitoring, and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of database management, including both relational and NoSQL systems, with expertise in query optimization and backup/recovery procedures.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and security best practices in cloud environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, clear communication abilities, and the capacity to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
