Cloud Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure Cloud, particularly in deploying and maintaining Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) within large-scale production environments. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Azure IaaS and PaaS, cloud infrastructure components such as networking, security, compute, storage, and databases, along with hands-on experience in Terraform and Azure DevOps.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy and maintain Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Analyze system errors and define corrective actions to maintain system integrity.
- Ensure a secure infrastructure environment while maintaining production stability and performance.
- Recommend and implement best practices and innovative solutions to optimize cloud infrastructure.
- Adhere strictly to organizational standards and change management policies.
- Perform infrastructure and operating system level diagnostics to troubleshoot issues.
- Conduct end-to-end connectivity diagnosis to ensure seamless network operations.
- Manage cloud infrastructure provisioning and ongoing management activities.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure health and address any anomalies proactively.
- Demonstrate strong Azure administration capabilities to support cloud environments.
- Utilize Terraform and Azure DevOps for infrastructure as code and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Oversee patch management, vulnerability management, and maintain thorough documentation.
- Ensure compliance with organizational information security policies and security baselines.
- Support business-as-usual (BAU) cloud infrastructure operations to maintain service continuity.

Required Qualifications:
- 5 to 8 years of professional experience working with Microsoft Azure Cloud.
- Proven experience in managing cloud infrastructure components including network, security, compute, storage, databases, and Kubernetes within Azure.
- Strong understanding and practical knowledge of Terraform and Azure DevOps tools.
- Solid understanding of operating systems infrastructure, particularly Linux and Windows environments.
- Hands-on experience in Azure administration and management.
- Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell and working with Azure APIs.
- In-depth knowledge of Azure management and control plane components, including networking, access management, role-based access control (RBAC), and security policies.
- Experience working with both Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS).
- Skilled in architecture design, implementation, and ongoing support of cloud solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud monitoring tools and backup strategies.
- Ability to ensure timely service delivery in a fast-paced environment.
- Exposure to managing cloud environments in large-scale production settings.
- Relevant certifications in Azure, Networking, Kubernetes, and Operating Systems are highly desirable.
