Cloud & Network Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Cloud & Network Infrastructure Engineer based in Islamabad/Rawalpindi to join our team on a full-time basis. This role operates on a hybrid work model aligned with the USA time zone. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing AWS cloud services, networking, servers, VPNs, and virtualization technologies. You will be responsible for maintaining secure, reliable cloud and on-premise environments, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, and ensuring optimal performance and availability.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot AWS services including EC2, VPC, security groups, networking, and cloud connectivity.
- Configure and maintain VPNs, IPsec tunnels, routing, DNS, and firewall systems.
- Administer Linux and Windows servers, resolving infrastructure-related problems efficiently.
- Maintain pfSense firewalls and manage virtualization environments such as XCP-ng.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure for security, performance, and availability to ensure continuous operation.
- Document system configurations, support backup processes, manage access controls, and uphold infrastructure reliability.

Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure management.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, routing, DNS, and DHCP.
- Proven experience with VPN technologies, IPsec protocols, and pfSense or equivalent firewall solutions.
- Proficiency in Linux server administration; experience with Windows Server is advantageous.
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as XCP-ng, VMware, or similar technologies.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities to address complex infrastructure challenges.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Knowledge of scripting languages like Bash or Python to automate tasks and improve system efficiency.
