VST Inc, a forward-thinking technology company committed to innovation and excellence, is looking for a skilled Cloud Security and DevOps Engineer to join its fully remote team. This role centers on managing and enhancing AWS cloud infrastructure to guarantee high availability, strong performance, and robust security. The successful candidate will have a deep enthusiasm for cloud infrastructure, security, and automation. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to support cloud deployments, implement industry best practices, and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operation of cloud-based applications and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure to maintain reliability and operational efficiency.
- Implement monitoring, automation, and scaling solutions to ensure optimal system performance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy applications and machine learning models effectively.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Design and implement backup and recovery strategies to protect data integrity.
- Develop and enforce cloud governance policies with a focus on security and compliance standards.
- Stay updated on the latest cloud technology trends and advancements to continuously enhance infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in Cloud Operations or AWS Administration.
- Mandatory AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect or SysOps Administrator.
- Strong expertise with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation purposes.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD to streamline deployment workflows.
- Solid understanding of network security principles and cloud security best practices.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with containerization technologies like Kubernetes or Docker.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation for efficient infrastructure management.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools including CloudWatch, Prometheus, and the ELK Stack to maintain system health and performance.
This is a full-time remote position offering a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs300,000 to Rs400,000.
