Cloud Solutions Architect

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Solution Architect to join our team and take ownership of analyzing, preparing, implementing, and verifying the configuration and integration of Ericsson Cloud Solutions. This role involves handling a variety of scenarios including new introductions, upgrades, expansions, functionality enhancements, and capacity planning. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with customers and internal teams to design and deliver customized cloud solutions that align with both business goals and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Define, scope, and design solution offerings for Ericsson Cloud Solutions, with the possibility of incorporating third-party cloud solutions.
- Participate actively in the integration process as required.
- Analyze customer technology environments, gather and define business requirements, and conduct risk assessments.
- Work collaboratively with the core team to identify potential activities and develop effective solutions.
- Prepare technical presentations and proposals, and lead customer presentations.
- Support and oversee the deployment of cloud solutions firsthand.
- Provide valuable feedback to Research and Development teams to enhance product offerings.
- Engage in knowledge transfer, documentation, and sharing of information within the team.
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies and share insights to improve customer competence.
- Plan and execute product configuration and integration tasks.
- Lead integration and migration activities.
- Prepare and conduct system testing as well as acceptance testing.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive initiatives accordingly.
- Support post-project activities and follow-up processes.
- Facilitate technical discussions and workshops with customers.
- Occasionally assist in pre-sales activities, including conducting pre-studies.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in Private Cloud Deployment.
- Strong expertise in OpenStack and Kubernetes platforms.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and principles.
- Comprehensive knowledge of various storage technologies.
- Experience working with multiple third-party hardware vendors such as Dell, HP, and Lenovo.
- Proficiency in Linux administration and practical usage.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a continuous learning mindset.
- Strong planning and organizational abilities.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure, particularly in customer-facing roles.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet business needs.
- Experience with automation and pipelining processes.
- Relevant public cloud certifications such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Certifications and experience in IP networking domains, including CCNA and CCNP.
