Cloud Solutions Architect

Grade L3 Cloud Solutions Architect role based in Lahore, this position focuses on partnering with senior leaders across diverse industries such as BFSI, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and the Public Sector. The role involves understanding client needs through discovery sessions and workshops, and aligning cloud and hybrid technology solutions to drive meaningful business outcomes. The architect will design and implement scalable, secure, and compliant infrastructures using a variety of platforms including Oracle, VMware, AWS, Azure, OpenStack, and RedHat. This role also requires active participation in presales activities, contributing to revenue growth by leading technical evaluations and collaborating closely with sales teams. Additionally, the architect will champion cloud adoption and innovative operational models, while supporting partner and customer enablement through training and ongoing success initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as a trusted advisor to CxOs and senior stakeholders across multiple enterprise verticals, facilitating workshops and demos to capture requirements and align solutions with business goals.
- Architect comprehensive Cloud, Hybrid, and On-Premises solutions leveraging technologies such as Oracle, VMware, AWS, Azure, OpenStack, and RedHat.
- Design architectures that are scalable, secure, and compliant, covering compute, storage, networking, and security workloads.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), sizing estimates, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Return on Investment (ROI) analyses to support customer decision-making.
- Lead technical evaluations, competitive analysis, and manage objections during RFP and RFQ processes.
- Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline, directly contributing to revenue growth through solution wins.
- Collaborate with sales teams to position differentiated solutions and close business opportunities.
- Develop and deliver business cases, benefit realization plans, and cloud adoption strategies.
- Evangelize cloud transformation and innovative OPEX models such as Managed Private Cloud, Hardware-as-a-Service, and outcome-based pricing.
- Enable partner ecosystems and customer teams through training, readiness workshops, and post-sale support to ensure successful adoption.

Required Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Cloud Infrastructure platforms including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, Azure, VMware VCF, and RedHat OpenShift.
- Hands-on experience with data security, virtualization, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Proven ability to design and present enterprise architectures across Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) models.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to conduct TCO and ROI analyses and effectively articulate business value to customers.
- Demonstrated track record of winning large deals and contributing to revenue growth in presales roles.
