CNC Laser Cutting Machine Designer / Metal CNC Designer

We are seeking a skilled CNC Design Technician to join our team in Talagang. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise 2D drawings and preparing cutting files for CNC laser cutting and metal CNC machines. This role requires converting client drawings and specifications into machine-ready formats while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in material usage. The position offers a competitive monthly salary of PKR 35,000 to 40,000, with accommodation and food provided. The work schedule involves shifts of 8 to 10 hours per day, and the role requires on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare 2D drawings and cutting files suitable for CNC laser cutting and metal CNC machinery.
- Convert client drawings, sketches, and technical specifications into machine-ready files such as DXF and DWG formats.
- Develop sheet layouts and nesting plans to optimize material use and minimize waste.
- Verify dimensions, tolerances, and design accuracy prior to production to ensure quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with CNC operators to troubleshoot and resolve any design or cutting issues during production.
- Update and revise designs based on feedback from the production team to improve output quality.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date design files and documentation for easy reference.
- Adhere strictly to workplace safety protocols and machine operation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in CNC design or drafting, specifically related to laser cutting and metal CNC machinery.
- Proven hands-on experience in preparing files compatible with CNC laser cutting and metal CNC machines.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD/CAM software essential for creating and modifying technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of measurements, tolerances, and the properties of various metal materials used in CNC processes.
- Ability to accurately read, interpret, and work from technical drawings and client specifications.
- Willingness and ability to relocate to Talagang for on-site work.
