Plant Engineer

A professional who would ensure that industrial machinery and equipment run smoothly and reliably. The role will also include the responsibility to deal with a breakdown or inspect equipment as part of a maintenance schedule.

JD / Responsibilities:

1. Utilize efficient systems and simulation tools to analyze and create lean manufacturing products, making the most use of available space, personnel, equipment, and materials.

2. Managing and maintaining workspace.

3. Maintenance planning and organizing maintenance schedules.

4. Motivating team.

5. Directs the maintenance of plant, buildings and equipment and coordinates the requirements for new designs, surveys, and maintenance schedules.

6. Establishes standards and policies for installation, modification, quality control, testing, inspection, and maintenance according to engineering principles and safety regulations.

7. Collaborate closely with production and maintenance staff to understand the product and process and to avoid breakdowns during the process.

8. Maintenance reporting. (Material usage, weekly and monthly maintenance reports).

9. Ensure the facility complies with relevant regulations and conduct regular checkups to verify the machinery and operations are safe.

10. Make sure that all applicable manufacturing safety regulations, policies, and procedures are followed at all times.

11. Maintain and develop plant drawings, standards and procedures as appropriate.

12. Ensure that plant systems are maintained through the administration of a preventive maintenance system.

13. Maintainance of tools and equipment to promote safe and proper work habits by staff.
