Collective is recruiting a part time designer to work on an hourly basis on behalf of a multinational with extensive global operations, and offering a highly competitive salary. The designer will be working on the design and frontend of a web application, website and mobile app.
The designer will be responsible for:
- Study design briefs and translate them into workable items and implementing them into HTML, CSS for web applications
- Convert graphic design into HTML and CSS, as per Bootstrap 4 standards
- Fix and improve the Bootstrap frontend of web applications and website
- Fix and improve HTML, CSS in web application and website
- Conceptualise visuals
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
- Design a range of materials including logos, layouts, marketing material, illustrations etc
- Create and implement designs for website, web application and mobile app
- Producing high quality UI/UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams
- Design and develop new web pages for the web application and website
The ideal candidate should:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or cumulative experience equal to a degree
- 4+ years of design experience with an extensive portfolio of work
- Mastery over web and graphic design software and methods
- Must have a good grasp of HTML5/CSS3 and Bootstrap
- Excellent graphic design skills and a strong understanding of composition, color, and typography
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively
- Familiar with the current trends in the industry
