Commercial Analyst (CA Qualified)

FivePearls, a Sydney-based wholesale property fund manager, specialises in land subdivision and development projects. The company focuses on delivering structured investment opportunities tailored for wholesale investors. We are currently seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant to join our team as a Commercial Analyst. This role involves supporting financial modelling, investment analysis, and commercial reporting across our diverse property fund portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain detailed financial models to support investment decisions and fund performance analysis.
- Prepare commercial analyses and provide due diligence assistance for both new and existing property fund opportunities.
- Support fund performance reporting, including cash flow forecasting and investor communications.
- Analyse project and development feasibility, assessing returns and risks associated with property investments.
- Collaborate closely with the Investments and Compliance teams to ensure accurate fund structuring and reporting compliance.
- Assist with budgeting processes, variance analysis, and conduct ad hoc commercial and financial analyses as required.

Required Qualifications
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) designation from ICAP or an equivalent professional body.
- Minimum of two years post-qualification experience, preferably within real estate, funds management, or financial services sectors.
- Strong financial modelling capabilities, with proficiency in Excel and experience in feasibility studies, IRR/NPV modelling, and cash flow forecasting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Availability to work during Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) business hours.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Exposure to property or real estate investment is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with ASIC regulatory requirements related to wholesale funds will be advantageous.
