Global Sourcing Expert

We're an eCommerce group operating across the USA, UK, and Canada, selling on Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and Newegg. We're looking for an experienced Senior Global Sourcing Specialist to lead product sourcing and supplier management across China, Hong Kong, and broader Asian manufacturing hubs — not limited to a single platform.

About the Role

This isn't just an "Alibaba sourcing" role. We need someone who knows the full sourcing ecosystem — Alibaba, Global Sources, Made-in-China, 1688.com, DHgate, HKTDC, trade shows, and direct factory networks — and can navigate all of them to find the best manufacturers, best pricing, and most reliable partners for our multi-marketplace business.

Responsibilities

4–5+ years of hands-on experience in international product sourcing (China/Hong Kong focus required)
Proven, practical experience across multiple B2B platforms: Alibaba, Global Sources, Made-in-China, 1688, DHgate, HKTDC, and direct factory/agent networks
Strong track record sourcing products successfully sold on Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and Newegg
Experience with supplier verification, factory audits/evaluation, trade assurance, and due diligence
Skilled negotiator — pricing, MOQs, lead times, and payment terms
Solid understanding of international shipping, Incoterms, customs documentation, and logistics
Ability to independently identify new vendors and manufacturers beyond the "usual" platforms
Excellent communication and analytical skills; comfortable managing multiple supplier relationships simultaneously
Responsibilities

Source profitable, high-quality products from a wide network of Chinese and Hong Kong suppliers — across multiple platforms and direct factory contacts
Vet and verify manufacturers: certifications, production capacity, quality control, and reliability
Request and evaluate quotations, samples, and production timelines
Negotiate optimal commercial terms (pricing, MOQ, lead time, payment terms)
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure quality and on-time shipping
Maintain detailed sourcing records and build long-term supplier relationships
Continuously scout new vendors/platforms to diversify and strengthen our supply chain
