This position seeks a skilled communications professional to design and implement a targeted communication strategy that aligns with the organization’s goals and audience. The role involves producing and managing a variety of content types, engaging proactively with media representatives, and strengthening the organization’s public presence. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with multiple departments to ensure messaging is consistent, clear, and impactful, while also overseeing media relations and publicity initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Project Director (PD), Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training (MOFEPT), and Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) to develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy.
- Write, edit, and distribute a wide range of content including publications, press releases, website materials, annual reports, speeches, and marketing collateral that effectively communicate the organization’s activities and services.
- Act as a spokesperson by responding to media inquiries and coordinating interviews.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with journalists and manage an up-to-date media contact database.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the organization’s brand reputation and coordinate publicity events when necessary.
- Monitor media coverage and compile analytics and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of communication efforts.
- Utilize design and publishing software proficiently to support content creation and presentation.
- Address conflicts promptly and escalate issues to management as required.
Required Qualifications:
- MBA or MA degree in a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in communications or related areas.
- Open domicile quota eligibility.
- Willingness to work at Sharda Neelum, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, with testing to be conducted in Islamabad.
