Compliance Officer

Azee Securities (Pvt.) Limited is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join its team in Karachi. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the company adheres to all relevant regulatory requirements, including those set by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) and the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). This position requires a professional who is well-versed in capital market regulations and brokerage operations, with a strong commitment to maintaining compliance, transparency, and governance standards within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with SECP regulations, the PSX Rule Book, and other applicable regulatory frameworks.
- Monitor brokerage operations, including client onboarding processes, Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Counter Financing of Terrorism (CFT) procedures.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports, conduct compliance reviews, and maintain thorough documentation.
- Act as a liaison with regulatory bodies such as SECP, PSX, Central Depository Company (CDC), and National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL).
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure timely implementation of new compliance requirements.
- Identify and report compliance issues, assisting in the enhancement of internal controls and corporate governance practices.

Required Qualifications
- A relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, Law, or a related field; alternatively, a recognized professional accountancy qualification is acceptable.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in audit, finance, compliance, or a managerial role within the financial sector, in accordance with the applicable Fit and Proper Criteria.
- Strong knowledge of Pakistan’s capital market regulations and brokerage operations.
- Excellent analytical abilities, communication skills, and proficiency in preparing detailed reports and documentation.
- Must satisfy the regulatory Fit and Proper Criteria applicable to this role.
