We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our team in Lahore, Pakistan. This role focuses on ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies across operations related to the UK, Europe, and Ireland. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining the company’s compliance framework, mitigating risks, and supporting business integrity in these regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies specific to the UK, Europe, and Ireland.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with various departments to implement compliance programs and training sessions.
- Prepare and submit compliance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies as required.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices within the specified regions.
- Assist in the investigation of compliance breaches and support the development of remediation plans.
- Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and documentation.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of compliance policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a compliance role, preferably with exposure to UK, European, or Irish regulatory environments.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards applicable to these regions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with internal teams and external regulators.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and compliance management software.
