Role Description The Computer Aided Design (CAD) Designer at Zarwari is a full-time, on-site role based in Lahore. The person in this role will create and update detailed technical drawings and 2D/3D CAD models for construction and engineering projects, ensuring all documentation meets project specifications, codes, and internal standards. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting design concepts and engineering inputs, preparing construction drawings, revising plans based on feedback, and maintaining organized drawing files.

The CAD Designer will collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to resolve design issues, clarify requirements, and ensure accurate, timely delivery of drawings. The role also involves supporting design reviews, identifying potential design conflicts, and contributing to continuous improvement of drafting and documentation processes.

Qualifications

Strong technical drawing and general drawing skills to produce clear, accurate visual representations of designs.
Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for creating, modifying, and managing 2D and 3D models.
Experience preparing and interpreting construction drawings, including plans, sections, and detailed views.
Knowledge of design engineering principles to ensure drawings align with functional and structural requirements.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
Relevant technical diploma or degree in CAD, drafting, engineering technology, or a related field.
Familiarity with local building standards and regulations; experience in construction or engineering environments is an advantage.
