Computer Science Teacher

Dar-e-Arqam School System invites applications for a full-time Computer Science Teacher position at its DAS 294-B Boys Campus in Sabzazar, Lahore. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Computer Science to Grade 8 and Grade 9 students, fostering both their theoretical understanding and practical skills in computing. This role requires delivering lessons in a supportive and disciplined environment, with an average class size of 15 to 20 students. The teaching load consists of five lectures per day, and the salary range is PKR 25,000 to 35,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, well-structured Computer Science lessons tailored to Grade 8 and Grade 9 curricula.
- Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, assessments, quizzes, and classroom activities to enhance student learning.
- Regularly evaluate and grade notebooks, assignments, and tests to monitor student progress.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic development.
- Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive, conducive learning environment.
- Actively participate in school meetings, professional development sessions, and other academic activities.

Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, such as BS/BSCS, MCS, or MSCS.
- Strong knowledge and command of the Computer Science curriculum for Grades 8 and 9.
- Effective communication skills and proven classroom management abilities.
