Job Description:
- Manage financial transactions for payments to suppliers including cheques, bank transfers etc ·
- Prepare short term and long term cash flow forecast and Budget.·
- Prepare cash and bank reconciliation statement and returns for Tax and SECP reporting purposes·
- Ensure that necessary books of accounts like cash book, ledger etc. are prepared and reconciled with bank statements.·
- Calculate depreciation as per prescribed rates·
- Carry out physical verification of fixed assets with reference to the fixed asset register.·
- Working with Sales and Procurement Teams, and devising better processes·
- Manage the periodic financial close process, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations, analysis and report preparation·
- Participates in the development and review of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies·
- Understand financial processes and procedures and ensuring compliance by everyone·
- Assist in adhoc working – preparation of spreadsheets, reports and correspondence as required·
- Ensure resolution of finance related queries in a professional manner·
- Helps in improving system efficiencies and business practices·
- Develop and implement policies and procedures with emphasis on internal control
