Construction Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to support construction projects based in the United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing drawings, specifications, and project documents to prepare precise quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and bid proposals. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can analyze project plans and collaborate effectively with project teams to ensure accurate and timely estimating.

Key Responsibilities
- Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and specifications thoroughly.
- Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and comprehensive cost estimates.
- Analyze project plans, scopes, and bid documents to identify requirements.
- Develop material, labor, and subcontractor cost estimates.
- Assist in bid preparation and proposal development processes.
- Identify scope gaps, discrepancies, and potential cost risks to mitigate issues early.
- Coordinate closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to estimating activities.
- Ensure deadlines are met while maintaining high accuracy in estimates.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction estimating.
- Strong knowledge of construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Proven experience with quantity takeoffs and cost estimation techniques.
- Familiarity with U.S. construction practices and standards is preferred.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines efficiently.

Software Proficiency
Experience with estimating and project management tools such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, CostX, RSMeans, On-Screen Takeoff, Procore, and Excel or similar software is preferred.

Benefits and Work Environment
This position offers the flexibility of remote work with a hybrid setup based in Islamabad. Compensation is competitive, ranging from Rs100,000 to Rs250,000 per month, depending on experience.
