Construction Site Storekeeper

This full-time, on-site position based in Lahore offers an opportunity to work as a Construction Site Storekeeper for an active construction project. The role involves managing a variety of materials and inventory processes to ensure smooth operations on site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling client-supplied materials, overseeing deliveries, maintaining Goods Received Notes (GRNs), processing requisitions, and keeping accurate stock ledgers. Additionally, the role requires conducting physical stock counts, performing reconciliations, ensuring proper storage of materials, and maintaining all relevant documentation. This position demands a detail-oriented individual with solid experience in construction site storekeeping and proficiency in basic inventory management tools.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and control client-supplied materials and site inventory efficiently.
- Receive and verify deliveries against purchase orders and GRNs.
- Maintain accurate stock ledgers and update inventory records regularly.
- Process material requisitions from site teams and coordinate timely issuance.
- Conduct physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of materials to prevent damage or loss.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation related to materials, deliveries, and stock movements.
- Collaborate with procurement and site management teams to support project requirements.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum education of Matriculation (Secondary School Certificate) or Intermediate level.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in storekeeping within a construction site environment.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and their handling requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Ability to read and understand documents in both Urdu and English.
