Consultant Anesthetist (Operation Theater)

We are seeking a skilled Consultant Anesthetist to join our hospital team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering anesthesia to patients undergoing surgery or other medical procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period. This role requires close collaboration with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective anesthesia plans. The Consultant Anesthetist will also participate in pre-operative assessments and provide post-operative care to support patient recovery.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer anesthesia to patients during surgical and medical procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs continuously and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary.
- Work collaboratively with surgeons, nurses, and the broader medical team to create and execute anesthesia plans tailored to each patient.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the entire perioperative period.
- Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments and contribute to post-operative care management.

Required Qualifications

- FCPS (Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons) in Anesthesiology.
- A minimum of 4 to 5 years of relevant clinical experience as an anesthetist.

Compensation and Location

This position offers compensation on a sharing basis. The role is based in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Block 13C, Karachi.
