This full-time position is based at the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre in Lahore. We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated consultant head and neck surgeon to join the Department of Surgical Oncology. The successful candidate will share the workload as a full-time consultant, focusing on head and neck surgical oncology. This role requires expertise in ENT/ORL or maxillofacial surgery (dual-qualified), with a strong interest in head and neck cancer management. The surgeon will be responsible for delivering comprehensive surgical care in line with established guidelines and principles of teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
The consultant will cover all aspects of head and neck surgical oncology, working closely with multidisciplinary site-specific teams. Collaboration with anaesthetists, oncologists, and physicians is essential to provide integrated patient care. The role also involves supporting and participating in teaching and training junior colleagues. The appointee will be expected to demonstrate expertise in the surgical management of patients with cancers of the head and neck region, ensuring adherence to current clinical protocols and best practices.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold an FRCS with sub-specialization in ENT or maxillofacial surgery, reflecting dual dental and medical training. Alternatively, possession of the American Board certification in maxillofacial surgery or oto-rhino-laryngology is required. Full registration with the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) is mandatory. The candidate should have a predominant interest in oncology, particularly cancer surgery. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with effective time management and organizational abilities.
