This role focuses on supporting strategic initiatives related to privatization, sector reforms, and improving institutional performance within the public sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in analyzing regulatory frameworks, assessing public entities for potential privatization or restructuring, and assisting in the development of performance indicators and governance tools. Collaboration with government ministries, regulatory bodies, advisors, and development partners is essential to ensure effective coordination and timely progress tracking of various strategic projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the analysis of privatization frameworks, sector reforms, and evaluations of institutional performance.
- Assist in profiling and assessing public sector entities targeted for privatization or restructuring initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of performance indicators, benchmarks, and governance tools aimed at enhancing institutional effectiveness.
- Assist with financial modeling, business analysis, and the preparation of detailed background notes.
- Draft policy briefs, analytical notes, progress reports, and presentations to effectively communicate findings and recommendations.
- Facilitate coordination and information exchange among ministries, regulators, advisors, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor the progress of strategic initiatives, tracking implementation milestones to ensure timely delivery.
- Support engagement with development partners by preparing analytical inputs and necessary documentation.
- Maintain accurate records, databases, and analytical repositories related to strategy and policy work.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the competent authority.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Strategy & Policy, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized university.
- Professional certifications such as ACMA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CFA are highly desirable.
- Proven experience in investment banking, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), valuation, or restructuring is essential.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
