Content Creation and Writing Intern – SEO, Content Writing & Social Media

Brand Republic is seeking a motivated Content Creation & Writing Intern to join their team on a full-time, on-site basis in Karachi. This internship offers a hands-on experience in content writing, social media management, creative ideation, basic SEO, and short-form content production. The role involves moving seamlessly from idea generation and research to writing, content creation, and publishing. The position is designed for individuals passionate about both writing and digital content creation, providing an excellent opportunity to develop skills across multiple content formats. The internship duration is three months, with working hours from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. High-performing interns may be considered for permanent employment based on their performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Write engaging blogs, website copy, social media captions, marketing copy, and other digital content.
- Develop creative ideas, hooks, concepts, and scripts specifically for Reels and short-form videos.
- Conduct research on topics, target audiences, competitors, trends, and content opportunities.
- Assist with keyword research and basic SEO optimization for website and blog content.
- Help plan and maintain content calendars for social media and other digital platforms.
- Create or support the creation of basic visual content using Canva or similar design tools.
- Adapt content to suit various platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and websites.
- Collaborate with designers and video editors to transform content ideas into final creative outputs.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure grammar accuracy, clarity, tone consistency, and overall quality.
- Monitor content performance and contribute ideas to enhance future content strategies.

Required Qualifications

- Strong English writing and communication skills.
- Genuine interest in both content writing and digital content creation.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms, SEO principles, and digital marketing.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate original content ideas.
- Proficient research, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Familiarity with Canva or other basic content creation tools is advantageous.
- Awareness of social media trends and short-form content formats.
- Ability to manage deadlines, accept feedback constructively, and work across different content types.
- Fresh graduates, students, and candidates with 0–6 months of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

This internship is not limited to writing alone; candidates should be eager to contribute to both the writing and creative aspects of content, including social media posts, creative concepts, scripts, and basic visual content creation. The role offers a monthly stipend ranging from Rs10,000 to Rs15,000. Successful interns demonstrating strong performance and alignment with business needs may be offered permanent employment opportunities. The position requires in-person attendance at the office located in P.E.C.H.S Block 06, Karachi.
