Content & Social Media Executive | Full time | Onsite - Writing, SEO & Creation

Brand Republic is seeking a creative and organized Content & Social Media Executive to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis at our Karachi office. This role involves managing content development and social media activities for both the company and client projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for content writing, social media management, creative brainstorming, and content planning. You will create engaging content, develop content calendars, contribute ideas for branding and marketing campaigns, and collaborate closely with design and video teams to bring concepts to life. This position requires more than just writing captions; it demands an understanding of how to craft relevant content tailored to different audiences, platforms, and brands.

Key Responsibilities

- Write social media captions, marketing copy, website content, blogs, and campaign-related materials.
- Manage content planning and scheduling for company and client social media accounts.
- Develop weekly and monthly content calendars aligned with brand goals, campaigns, and current trends.
- Brainstorm creative ideas for social media posts, including Reels, carousels, campaigns, and brand-building initiatives.
- Conduct research on client industries, target audiences, competitors, and trends to identify content opportunities.
- Adapt content tone and messaging to suit various brands, platforms, and target demographics.
- Develop creative concepts, hooks, and scripts for short-form videos and social media campaigns.
- Coordinate with graphic designers, video editors, and other team members to execute content ideas effectively.
- Review, proofread, and refine content to ensure quality, accuracy, and brand consistency.
- Schedule and publish content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.
- Track basic social media performance, identify successful content formats, and suggest improvements.
- Manage multiple content requirements for in-house branding and client projects while meeting deadlines.

Required Qualifications

- 6 months to 1 year of relevant professional experience in content writing, social media management, content marketing, or digital marketing.
- Strong English writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Experience creating social media captions, marketing copy, and other digital content.
- Solid understanding of social media platforms, content formats, audience engagement, and content trends.
- Ability to plan content calendars and manage multiple social media content requirements simultaneously.
- Creative thinking with the ability to transform briefs or ideas into engaging content concepts.
- Strong research skills and adaptability in writing for different brands and audiences.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, video editors, and marketing teams.
- Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Meta Business Suite, scheduling tools, or content management platforms is a plus.
- Good time management, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple projects efficiently.

A portfolio or writing samples demonstrating your content creation and creative work will be advantageous. University, personal, or freelance projects are welcome if they showcase relevant skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

This position targets candidates with 6 to 12 months of relevant professional experience, making it ideal for junior-level applicants. Candidates with significantly more experience may not be the right fit for this role.

You will work on a variety of projects including in-house brand content and social media, social media management for client accounts, content calendar and campaign planning, creative brainstorming, brand-building ideas, content writing, publishing, and performance improvement.

Please note, this is a hands-on content and social media role that involves contributing to content strategy, creative ideation, planning, and day-to-day social media execution—not just writing.

The position offers a monthly salary ranging from Rs40,000 to Rs50,000 and requires on-site attendance at our P.E.C.H.S Block 06, Karachi location. Working hours are from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
