Content Specialist

Located in Islamabad, Pakistan, this full-time onsite position offers working hours from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. We are seeking a Software & Website Content Writer with 1 to 3 years of experience who can craft clear, engaging, and user-friendly content for software products, websites, and digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have the ability to grasp technical concepts and translate them into simple, accessible language that resonates with customers and users.

Key Responsibilities

- Write and maintain content across company websites, software products, landing pages, and product pages.
- Develop comprehensive software product documentation, including help center articles, user guides, FAQs, and feature descriptions.
- Create website copy that is clear, engaging, and consistent with the company’s brand and target audience.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Software Development, Design, and Marketing teams to gain a deep understanding of products and features.
- Simplify technical information into user-friendly language that enhances customer understanding.
- Produce content for software features, product releases, announcements, and marketing campaigns.
- Conduct research on relevant topics, competitors, industries, and target audiences to develop valuable content.
- Review, edit, and proofread existing content to ensure grammar, clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
- Maintain a consistent tone, terminology, and messaging across all digital platforms.
- Support SEO initiatives by incorporating keyword research, optimized page titles, headings, meta descriptions, and website content.
- Utilize AI writing and research tools effectively while ensuring content remains accurate, original, and human-readable.
- Work alongside designers to ensure content integrates seamlessly with website and UI layouts.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Excellent grammar, vocabulary, proofreading, and editing capabilities.
- Ability to comprehend software products and explain technical concepts in straightforward language.
- Strong research and information-gathering skills.
- Basic understanding of SEO and digital content writing principles.
- Familiarity with software, SaaS products, websites, or technology-related content is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines consistently.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Benefits

- Knowledge of the German language is preferred.
- Previous experience writing content for SaaS, software, websites, mobile applications, or technology companies.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted writing and research tools such as ChatGPT.
