Content Writer

Pakistan Digital Authority is seeking a skilled Content Writer to join its team in Islamabad. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Head of Content to support the expanding publishing needs of both the Authority and Digital Nation Pakistan (DNP). This role demands the production of a consistent output of 2 to 4 press-ready articles daily, along with website content, press releases, social media copy, and scripts. The Content Writer will transform departmental inputs and research briefs into polished, publishable materials while adhering strictly to the PDA Media Governance Policy.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce 2 to 4 press-ready articles daily in coordination with the Head of Content.
- Write website articles, press releases, official statements, social media copy, and scripts as required.
- Convert departmental inputs and research briefs into clear, engaging, and publishable content.
- Ensure all content complies with the PDA Media Governance Policy and follows the designated sign-off procedures.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience, preferably with a background in producing content for press or news publications at a daily output pace.
- Exceptional command of written English, with the ability to deliver clean, accurate, and publication-ready copy efficiently.
- Familiarity with government, technology, and policy-related topics is essential.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
- Proficiency in Urdu writing is considered an advantage.
