Coordinator - Integrated Medical Services

The Coordinator - Integrated Medical Services will play a pivotal role in supporting the outreach and outpatient medical centres of a leading healthcare institution in Karachi. This position involves developing and executing marketing strategies to drive patient volume and revenue, organizing community health events, and ensuring seamless coordination among various clinical and support departments. The role demands strong leadership to supervise daily operations, maintain high service standards, and manage financial and inventory controls. The Coordinator will also be responsible for staff management, credentialing of medical practitioners, and upholding safety and quality improvement initiatives within the medical centres.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement marketing strategies aimed at achieving volume and revenue targets for assigned Medical Centres (MCs).
- Plan and conduct promotional activities such as health events, medical camps, and open-house clinics in corporate and community environments.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including physicians, nursing, pharmacy, radiology, laboratory, and support services, to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Ensure service continuity during emergencies by collaborating with managers, safety and security teams, and other relevant departments.
- Supervise and support financial processes, including cash handling, petty cash management, and adherence to financial policies set by the Finance Department.
- Monitor daily financial activities and conduct random checks on cash handling and inventory control to maintain compliance with internal controls.
- Prepare and maintain staff duty rosters and monthly overtime reports for the assigned Medical Centres.
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance across all roles within the Medical Centres.
- Ensure complete credentialing and documentation of doctors practicing at the Medical Centres.
- Maintain facility standards through regular rounds and coordinate housekeeping requirements.
- Raise material stock and purchase requisitions on a monthly basis.
- Manage inventory of medical, surgical, and consumable supplies to avoid shortages.
- Collaborate with safety and security teams to conduct environmental rounds, enforce safety protocols, arrange safety training sessions, and ensure timely reporting.
- Participate in Quality Improvement (QI) forums and support the implementation of approved action plans.

Required Qualifications

- Strong understanding of marketing strategies and promotional techniques.
- Proven ability to coordinate teams effectively with strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Proficient in verbal and written communication in both English and Urdu.
- Skilled in problem-solving and proactive handling of operational challenges.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Composed and tactful under pressure, especially in high-stress situations.
- Familiarity with OPMS and outpatient-related systems is an advantage.
- Willingness to work beyond regular hours and on public holidays when required.
