Key Responsibilities
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to prepare detailed cost estimates and quantity takeoffs for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
- Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs to develop comprehensive bid proposals.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and clients to clarify project scope, assumptions, and identify potential risks.
- Utilize estimating software tools such as RSMeans, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD to produce accurate and timely estimates.
- Support cost control efforts throughout the project lifecycle by monitoring and updating estimates as needed.
- Contribute to budgeting, value engineering, and post-bid revisions to optimize project profitability and mitigate cost-related risks.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in project estimation, including preparing detailed cost estimates and quantity takeoffs for construction projects.
- Strong skills in cost management and cost control, with the ability to monitor, analyze, and optimize project costs throughout all phases.
- Competence in budgeting and financial planning for construction projects, including developing and maintaining budgets and forecasts.
- Excellent analytical abilities to interpret drawings, specifications, and data, while identifying risks, discrepancies, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Proficiency in industry-standard estimating software such as RSMeans, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD, along with advanced MS Excel skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams, contractors, and clients.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
