Country Manager (Technical Design & Operations)

The Country Manager (Technical Design & Operations) will oversee all aspects of the Lahore-based design and data coordination team. This full-time, on-site role requires managing daily operations, ensuring financial performance, and maintaining compliance with international standards. The successful candidate will lead team development efforts while aligning local activities with global business objectives. Strong technical expertise in AutoCAD and construction or fabrication design is essential, along with proven leadership and commercial skills. Reporting directly to the CEO (UK) and Director of Operations (NL), the role demands effective collaboration with international management and occasional travel to the UK and EU for meetings and training.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the design, drafting, and data management teams based in Lahore.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure alignment with the broader group objectives.
- Manage financial performance, including budgeting and monthly reporting.
- Implement and maintain business processes and quality management systems.
- Foster a high-performance, accountable, and positive team culture.
- Coordinate with UK and EU management teams to align project deliverables, schedules, and KPIs.
- Recruit, train, and mentor local staff to support ongoing business growth.
- Represent the company locally with professionalism and integrity.
- Travel internationally as required for coordination, meetings, and training purposes.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a relevant industry, including at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong technical knowledge of AutoCAD design processes, particularly in steelwork, fabrication, or construction.
- Demonstrated ability to manage financial and operational performance effectively.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal; proficiency in the local language is advantageous.
- Ability to travel internationally without restrictions, especially to the UK and EU.
