CoVi Analytics, a Fin Tech startup based in the heart of London, is looking to hire one or two Senior PHP Backend Developer/Engineer.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for a long-term full-time (8 hours / 5 days a week) contract to up-skill into the world of enterprise software.
We offer a full-remote ongoing collaboration starting with a salary range from 50.000 to 200.000 Pakistani Rupee per month.
Successful candidates will gain hands-on experience in developing enterprise-wide
Software as a Service (SaaS) offering and get an opportunity to work and grow with an international technical team for a potentially unlimited period of time.
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with a good working knowledge of PHP and the Laravel framework.
Candidates with Symfony experience will also be considered.
As part of this role, you will be reporting to the Product Lead Engineer, supporting the development and maintenance of our enterprise software.

You will spend most or all of your work time online in a video call with your colleagues.
• Good command of English (both verbal and written) – our business language is English.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Expert knowledge of PHP, its ecosystem.
• Knowledge of Laravel or Symfony Framework
• Knowledge Unit testing.
• Git experience is a must.
• Experience in creating and consuming REST APIs/JSON.
• MY SQL Database and ORM
• Experience with Docker is between required and desirable.
• Knowledge of the Linux system and bash scripting. DESIRABLE SKILLS:
• Knowledge of the code quality process (phpcs, phpmd, phpstan, code coverage)
• Knowledge of OOP design patterns and their implementation
• Knowledge of SOLID principle
• Behaviour testing is desirable
• Knowledge of Jira ticket and its own ecosystem
• Knowledge in any of the following technologies it's an advantage but it's absolutely not required: terraform, ansible, jenkins, javascript, selenium, mobile application development
