We are seeking a highly skilled Chinese Translator to facilitate smooth communication between our office staff and Chinese clients. The ideal candidate must have a strong command of Chinese and English and be able to accurately translate both verbal and written communications. This role requires an individual with excellent linguistic abilities, cultural understanding, and a professional approach to business interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate and interpret spoken and written content from Chinese to English and vice versa.
- Act as a liaison between the company and Chinese clients to ensure smooth communication.
- Support internal teams by conveying instructions, meeting notes, and discussions effectively.
- Ensure accurate and contextually appropriate translations for business meetings, conferences, and negotiations.
- Collaborate with different departments to provide language support where required.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling business-related communication.
Job Requirements:
- Must be fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and English (spoken & written).
- Must have studied in China (Education from a Chinese institution is mandatory).
- HSK Level 4 or above is required.
- Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Prior experience in translation, interpretation, or liaison roles is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site.
- Understanding of Chinese business culture and etiquette is a plus.
