We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Officer to join its finance department. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong foundation in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, financial analysis, and risk management. The Finance Officer is responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, preparing reports, and supporting budget planning activities that align with the organization's financial goals. This position requires proficiency in financial software and tools such as Excel, enabling precise data analysis and reporting. The role does not involve managing a team but requires close collaboration with cross-functional departments to maintain effective internal controls and support audit processes. The Finance Officer plays a crucial role in managing cash flows and coordinating audit activities to guarantee compliance with financial policies and regulations. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong analytical skills to identify financial risks and provide actionable insights for decision-making. This position is well-suited for professionals holding a minimum qualification of BBA, B.Com, or MBA and having at least one year of experience in accounts or finance-related functions. The ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines is essential to this role.


Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze accurate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support organizational objectives.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audit activities by providing necessary documentation and clarifications.
  • Manage cash flow to ensure the organization has adequate liquidity to meet its operational needs.
  • Utilize financial software and tools, including Excel and budgeting/forecasting software, to maintain accurate records and generate insights.
  • Assist in identifying and mitigating financial risks through thorough risk assessment and control measures.
  • Collaborate with different departments to gather financial data and support financial decision-making processes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
  • Support the preparation of tax filings, statutory reports, and regulatory submissions as required.
  • Provide recommendations for improving financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
