Crane Operator

Key Responsibilities
Operate cranes and related lifting equipment safely and efficiently on construction and industrial sites in Egypt. Perform daily pre-operation inspections and monitor equipment performance to ensure safe lifting operations. Follow lift plans and supervisor instructions to maneuver cranes, lifting, moving, and positioning materials and equipment accurately. Coordinate closely with rigging teams, signalers, and site supervisors to maintain smooth workflow and safety compliance. Maintain accurate documentation of crane operations and promptly report any faults or incidents. Assist with basic maintenance of crane equipment and support site housekeeping standards. Adhere strictly to POWERCHINA’s safety and quality policies at all times to promote an incident-free work environment.

Required Qualifications
Proven experience in lifting operations, demonstrating safe load handling and strict adherence to lift plans. Proficiency in operating heavy and lifting equipment within construction or industrial settings. Solid practical knowledge of crane controls, operating limits, and basic troubleshooting techniques. Ability to inspect lifting equipment and cranes to identify defects and ensure compliance with safety standards. Possession of a valid crane operator certification or license compliant with local regulations. Strong awareness of workplace safety protocols, ability to follow instructions and signals accurately, and a commitment to maintaining incident-free operations. Capability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, stand for extended periods, and manage physically demanding tasks. Effective communication and teamwork skills, with experience on large construction or infrastructure projects considered an advantage. Basic literacy and numeracy skills sufficient to read lift plans, safety procedures, and operation manuals.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
