GoPromo, a dynamic growth marketing agency specializing in SaaS, technology, eCommerce, fintech, Web3, and other fast-evolving industries, is seeking a Senior Creative Strategist. This full-time role requires 4–5+ years of experience and offers the opportunity to lead creative strategy across multiple brands while managing design and video editing teams. The ideal candidate will be deeply versed in audience insights, positioning, copywriting, creative psychology, social media, paid advertising, emerging trends, and performance-driven content. This role demands a hands-on strategist who can develop creative concepts, guide teams through tight deadlines, and leverage AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Strategy & Brand Planning:
Develop and own creative strategies for GoPromo’s client portfolio by thoroughly understanding each client’s product, audience, positioning, competitors, and objectives. Translate marketing goals into clear creative directions, campaign ideas, messaging frameworks, and brand communication strategies. Ensure all creative output aligns with brand identity and commercial goals while continuously identifying new opportunities based on market trends and campaign performance.
Social Media & Content Strategy:
Create and manage strategic monthly and quarterly content calendars tailored to platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, and YouTube. Develop content pillars and format plans including static posts, carousels, short-form videos, educational and founder-led content, UGC, thought leadership, and promotional campaigns. Maintain a balance between brand building, engagement, education, authority, and conversion-focused content while staying current with platform algorithms and best practices.
Paid Advertising Creative:
Plan and develop weekly ad creative concepts including campaign angles, hooks, messaging frameworks, scripts, headlines, offers, CTAs, and creative briefs. Collaborate closely with media buying and performance marketing teams to analyze creative performance and iterate on testing plans. Understand the distinctions between performance creatives and organic social content to optimize each accordingly.
Creative Team Leadership:
Oversee daily workflows of design and video editing teams by providing detailed, actionable briefs and clear direction. Conduct initial reviews of creative work to maintain high standards in design quality, storytelling, copy, and brand consistency. Mentor junior team members, offer constructive feedback, and improve creative processes to enhance productivity and output quality.
Project & Deadline Management:
Manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously, coordinating with account managers, media buyers, and creative teams to ensure timely delivery. Prioritize high-impact work, take ownership of deliverables, and proactively flag risks or resource constraints with recommended solutions.
Research & Trend Intelligence:
Continuously research developments in digital marketing, social media, paid advertising, creative strategy, SaaS, technology, AI, the creator economy, and client industries. Monitor competitors and leading brands to identify emerging creative trends and translate these insights into strategic ideas.
AI & Creative Operations:
Utilize AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to accelerate research, ideation, copywriting, scripting, content planning, and briefing. Demonstrate strong skills in prompting, validating, editing AI outputs, and establishing AI-assisted workflows and SOPs to improve team efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 4–5 years of professional experience in creative strategy, marketing strategy, copywriting, advertising, or content strategy.
- 1–2 years of experience in team management or creative leadership.
- Strong background in copywriting and marketing strategy with proven ability to create strategies and content plans for multiple brands.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, content formats, consumer psychology, audience behavior, and digital trends.
- Knowledge of paid advertising creatives and performance marketing fundamentals.
- Experience briefing and reviewing work from graphic designers and video editors.
- Proficiency with AI-powered creative tools like ChatGPT and Claude.
- Excellent communication, research, analytical, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify problems and opportunities independently.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience in a marketing or creative agency and familiarity with SaaS, fintech, eCommerce, Web3, or startup brands is highly valued. Knowledge of paid media platforms such as Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Google Ads, and LinkedIn Ads is a plus. Experience developing UGC concepts, video scripts, founder-led content, and direct-response advertising is beneficial. Familiarity with project management and creative collaboration tools, as well as developing creative SOPs and scalable production processes, is desirable.
