The Credentialing Specialist position is a full-time, on-site role located in Islāmābād, Pakistan. This role involves managing the entire credentialing lifecycle for healthcare providers, including gathering, verifying, and maintaining accurate provider documentation. The specialist will prepare and submit applications to insurance payers and regulatory agencies, track application progress, and ensure timely approvals and renewals. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with providers and internal teams, addressing credentialing inquiries, and ensuring compliance with payer, Medicare, and organizational standards. The role also requires updating credentialing databases, generating reports, and contributing to the continuous improvement of credentialing processes to enhance provider onboarding and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end credentialing processes including verification, enrollment, and re-credentialing of healthcare providers.
- Prepare and submit credentialing applications to insurance payers and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor application statuses and follow up to ensure timely approvals and renewals.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and internal teams to gather necessary documentation and respond to credentialing-related inquiries.
- Maintain compliance with payer, Medicare, and organizational credentialing standards.
- Update and maintain credentialing databases and generate regular reports.
- Support process improvements to optimize credentialing workflows and enhance client satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in credentialing and medical staff credentialing processes, including provider verification, enrollment, and re-credentialing.
- Strong communication and customer service skills for effective interaction with healthcare providers, payers, and internal stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of Medicare and other payer requirements, guidelines, and timelines.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple credentialing files and deadlines concurrently.
- Proficiency in healthcare IT systems, credentialing software, and standard office productivity tools such as Microsoft Office.
- Ability to interpret regulatory standards and maintain compliance with organizational policies and industry best practices.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience in medical billing, provider enrollment, or healthcare administration is advantageous.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent practical experience will be considered.
