Credentialing Specialist

Sequel Technologies, a software company focused on healthcare IT and medical billing services for the US market, is looking to hire a Credentialing Specialist for their office located in Bahria Town Phase 7, Rawalpindi. The ideal candidate will preferably reside in Bahria, DHA, or nearby areas. This role is critical in managing provider credentialing and insurance payer enrollment processes to ensure smooth operations and compliance with healthcare regulations. The position demands strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and effective communication to maintain accurate documentation and timely follow-up on application statuses.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end provider credentialing and insurance payer enrollment processes.
- Collect, verify, and maintain all necessary provider documentation to support credentialing efforts.
- Submit credentialing applications to insurance payers and monitor their progress regularly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider records within the EHR/EMR system.
- Follow up on application statuses proactively and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise.
- Ensure all credentialing files comply with relevant regulatory and compliance standards.

Required Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of experience working in the credentialing field.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Solid understanding or hands-on experience with provider credentialing and payer enrollment procedures.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to follow up and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in English is considered an advantage.
- Candidates with 2 years of credentialing experience will be given preference.
- This is an on-site position requiring candidates to be available for in-person interviews.
- Working hours are from 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM during summer months and 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM during winter months.
- The company offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs. 44,513.77 to Rs. 117,400.96.
