Credentialing Specialist

MaxRemind is seeking an experienced Credentialing Specialist to oversee provider credentialing, re-credentialing, and payer enrollment processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of U.S. healthcare credentialing standards and demonstrate the ability to complete credentialing activities accurately, timely, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires close coordination with internal teams and payers to ensure smooth processing and resolution of any credentialing or enrollment issues.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire provider credentialing and re-credentialing lifecycle.
- Handle payer enrollment processes with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers.
- Maintain and update provider profiles on CAQH and PECOS platforms.
- Review, verify, and validate provider credentialing documentation.
- Track application statuses, renewals, expirations, and follow-up actions.
- Resolve any issues related to payer enrollment and credentialing.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external payers to ensure timely processing.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to credentialing activities.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in U.S. healthcare credentialing.
- Strong understanding of provider credentialing and payer enrollment procedures.
- Proficiency with CAQH, PECOS, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer systems.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Willingness to work night shifts.
