Credit Card Financial Reporting Officer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our team in Karachi, specializing in credit card operations within the finance sector. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing credit card transactions, resolving customer queries, and supporting financial reporting and reconciliation processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Retrieve and upload credit card files into the Core Banking System accurately and timely.
- Post both international and local credit card settlement vouchers.
- Manage credit card payment and local settlement files by placing them on the SFTP platform.
- Respond promptly to IBCA inquiries related to credit card payments received from branches.
- Prepare advance tax details and coordinate with the Finance Tax team to facilitate certificate issuance.
- Resolve credit card-related complaints within established turnaround times (TATs).
- Assist the line manager with follow-ups and address issues identified during branch operations.
- Handle customer queries related to credit cards received from branches efficiently.
- Compile credit card spending details and cross-border transaction data for reporting purposes.
- Post financial reversal requests in the Credit Card System as required.
- Prepare monthly General Ledger (GL) details and submit them to the Finance Division.
- Upload credit card files into the Credit Card Management Information System (MIS).
- Support the line manager during month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Provide timely resolution of customer complaints received from the Call Center and branches.
- Initiate credit card management invoices for payment processing by the Finance Division.
- Initiate reward merchant payment requests to ensure timely payments to reward partners.
- Execute end-of-day, month-end, and year-end processes for the Credit Card Branch.

Required Qualifications:
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Strong understanding of finance principles and credit card operations.
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret financial data and resolve discrepancies.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
